
Lib Dems look set to run Gloucester City Council after beating Conservatives
They won 17 of the 39 seats the council, with the Conservatives on 11 seats, Labour on seven and the Independents on four.
Councillors Jeremy Hilton and Angela Conder are part of the Liberal Democrat team representing Kingsholm & Wotton.
Jeremy was born, educated and works in Gloucester and has represented the Kingsholm area for many years. He is the leader of the council and is also the county councillor for Kingsholm and Wotton.
Angela Conder, who lives in Kingsholm, is a former local government officer and librarian and has lived in Gloucester for 23 years.
A supporter of Friends of the Earth and National Trust, she has a passion for the urban and environmental issues.
