Lib Dem MP's bill to protect parkland
Solihull's Lib Dem MP, Lorely Burt will present a Bill before the House of Commons on Tuesday to protect parkland from being sold off by local councils and give local people more of a say in planning decisions.
Councillor Caroline Courtney and Joshua Hanley are part of the Liberal Democrat team for Tuffley.
Caroline, who lives on Stroud Road near to St Barnabas Church, was first elected to the city council in May 2021. She is the cabinet member for culture and leisure.
Joshua Hanley grew up in Tuffley, went to local schools and is now raising his family here.
He is a sports coach and has helped run local football teams.

In view of the degree of public interest in Woodcote, Town and Stamford wards about Rosebery High School's proposed developments, Lib Dem councillors took the initiative in calling for a public meeting, which was held at the Town Hall on 24th June at 7.00 pm.
