Councillor Caroline Courtney and Joshua Hanley are part of the Liberal Democrat team for Tuffley.
Caroline, who lives on Stroud Road near to St Barnabas Church, was first elected to the city council in May 2021. She is the cabinet member for culture and leisure.
Joshua Hanley grew up in Tuffley, went to local schools and is now raising his family here.
He is a sports coach and has helped run local football teams.

Commenting on Sir Jonathan Porritt's warning that the Government will fail to reach its targets on cutting CO2 emissions if the Department for Transport's forecast of airport expansion goes ahead, Norman Baker MP, Liberal Democrat Shadow Environment Secretary, said:

Knighton Park is to benefit from the new Lib Dem City Council's priority to look after Leicester. Worn out paths are to be resurfaced, new planting is to replace worn out beds, broken benches are to be replaced and play equipment is to be replaced and improved.
The Lib Dem group proposed a motion at the County Council meeting on 15th June to urge the Government to retain free school transport. However, the Conservative administration at County Hall refused to debate the subject in time to respond to the Government's consultation's deadline of 25th June.
