Hospital cuts decision delayed
Lib Dem campaigner Peter Carroll has condemned the postponement of the decision on the future of two wards that care for elderly patients at the Royal Victoria Hospital.
Councillor Caroline Courtney and Joshua Hanley are part of the Liberal Democrat team for Tuffley.
Caroline, who lives on Stroud Road near to St Barnabas Church, was first elected to the city council in May 2021. She is the cabinet member for culture and leisure.
Joshua Hanley grew up in Tuffley, went to local schools and is now raising his family here.
He is a sports coach and has helped run local football teams.

"Homes in West Chelmsford could be hiked into higher council tax bands when revaluation takes place after April 1st," said Lib Dem Parliamentary candidate Stephen Robinson. "The rises here since 1991 have been higher than the national average, which means many council tax payers in West Chelmsford could see a large rise. Council tax bills for the next ten years will be based on the April 1st 2005 property prices."
