The Liberal Democrats have won 16 seats across the UK in the European Parliamentary elections.
Gloucester is part of the South West of England constituency, which elects six MEPs and the Lib Dems gained two seats.
The new Lib Dem MEPs that will represent you are Caroline Voaden and former Cheltenham MP Martin Horwood.
Dr Rebecca Trimnell, Liberal Democrat Parliamentary candidate for Gloucester, said: "The Lib Dems did well in both the local and EU elections this year.
"In Gloucester we got more votes than either the Conservatives or Labour on May 23."
Dr Trimnell added: "These elections show that the voters in Gloucester are tired of the same old politics and the Liberal Democrats are the liberal, progressive alternative.
"We should believe in better for Gloucester.
"Come and help me become the next MP for Gloucester, join the Lib Dems today."
