Seeking a solution to Sims Lane junction problems
The Liberal Democrats have asked Highways whether anything can be done to improve access to and from Sims Lane.
Motorists who are turning right to enter and exit Sims Lane are finding it difficult to cross two lines of traffic safely.
“We have written to the county council to see whether anything can be done to make the junction safer for motorists exiting and entering, particularly when turning right,” said Liam Harries.
“When there is a lot of traffic on the Bristol Road it is difficult to turn right both in and out of Sims Lane.
“Hopefully the Highways engineers can find a solution to make the junction safer for everyone.”
