4 Aug 2020

Councillors Declan Wilson and David Brown keep you updated with news from across Hucclecote ward.

- We have had reports of some bikes (those with a low steel content in the frame) not being picked up by traffic light loops. This is frustrating for cyclists and a potential safety hazard.

If this has happened to you please let us know and we will arrange for the detection system to be checked.

- After being contacted by David Brown the county council arranged for vegetation in Appleton Way to be cut back and added to the maintenance schedule.

- In the last round of grass cutting the verge at the junction between Porchester Road and Kingscroft Road was left out. After

being contacted by a resident Declan Wilson arranged for the job to be finished.

- Declan and David have reported a wide range of minor works during recent weeks. These include blocked road gullies on Churchdown Lane and Zoons Road, potholes on numerous roads such as Barrington Drive and Pinemount Road, broken gully in Larkhay Road, small tree leaning toward the road on Colwell Rd, broken utility cover on Hucclecote Road.
