Local firm Synetiq is sponsoring Tuffley Rovers

Local firm Synetiq is now the kit sponsor of Tuffley Rovers FC after being introduced by Councillor Sebastian Field.
“I will continue to do all I can to support local teams like Tuffley Rovers, as well as rugby teams,” said Councillor Field.
“I’m delighted that they’ve secured this deal, and if any other local firms want to support Podsmead sport, please get in touch.”
Meanwhile, Councillor Field continues to press Matthew Homes, the developer at Earls Park, on
local issues.
Recent successes and commitments include:
• Pothole filled on the corner of Millstone Way/Emery Avenue
• Vegetation pruned at Neven Place
• Working with the city council and Matthew Homes for a solution to the refuse collection problems in Millstone Way/Emery Avenue
• Pressing Matthew Homes on bringing the parks up to adoptable standard, and for a date on when
the cut-through will open from Millstone Way to Newark Road
The Tuffley Avenue traffic calming scheme was installed over the summer and is now in
operation.
The county council has now agreed to install a Keep Clear box in the street to help residents leave Newark Road.
