Members Community Funding put to good use by Joanne

As regularly reported in Spotlight, the Community Grant Budget allowed each city councillor to allocate £1,000 (reduced to £500 for 2018-19) within their ward to support community projects. Joanne received applications from several local groups including the following examples which each received funding:


- James Hopkins Trust - local charity providing specialist care and support for life limited and life threatened young children.

- Gloucestershire Dear Association - part fund visit to a local Christmas Panto performed especially for deaf children and their families.

- Heart of Gloucester F.C. - new football goals for both boys and girls teams as they progress to older age group
