Members Community Funding put to good use by Declan and David

As regularly reported in Spotlight, the Community Grant Budget allowed each city councillor to
allocate £1,000 (reduced to £500 for 2018-19) within their ward to support community projects.
Applications were received from several local groups including the following examples which
each received funding::
Ÿ Hucclecote Scouts - update existing lighting at the local Scout Hut, including the use of
energy saving LED lighting
Ÿ Hucclecote Boys Brigade and Girls' Association - provide boys and girls with the
opportunity to take part in activities they would not normally be able to, including swimming,
dry slope tobogganing, visit the zoo.
Ÿ Hucclecote Community Association - make improvements to the boundary fencing
