Elmbridge and Longlevens represented by Lib Dem MP

Cameron Thomas celebrates being elected Longlevens and Elmbridge's new MP

Elmbridge and Longlevens are now represented by a Liberal Democrat MP after Cameron Thomas won the Tewkesbury constituency.

The former RAF officer, who lives in Longford, beat veteran Conservative MP Laurence Robertson to become the first Liberal to represent the area in over 100 years.

Mr Thomas polled 20,730 votes ahead of Mr Robertson on 14,468. 

The Reform candidate got exactly 6,000 votes, with Labour on 4,298, the Green Party on 2,873 and the Christian Peoples Alliance with 170.

Longlevens has been part of the Tewkesbury constituency since 2010 while Elmbridge moved ahead of the 2024 General Election.
