Bollands replaced on Grafton Road

8 Jul 2018

The two missing bollards at the end of Grafton Road have now been replaced.

This followed a request from county councillor Jeremy Hilton, after he received a complaint by a resident of Elmbridge.

He said: "I am pleased the missing safety bollards have been replaced. I have also asked for the bollards at this location to be painted and for new reflective strips to be fitted."

Meanwhile, work continues on the Oxstalls junction improvement where it meets Cheltenham Road.

The work is being carried out to improve access in and out of the university campus when the new business school opens in September.

It has caused significant disruption particularly for pedestrians who are forced to repeatedly cross the road.
