Supporting Lambourn’s Racing Future
I recently visited the Jockey Club Estate in Lambourn, meeting with trainers to discuss the challenges facing the racing industry.
Councillor Caroline Courtney and Joshua Hanley are part of the Liberal Democrat team for Tuffley.
Caroline, who lives on Stroud Road near to St Barnabas Church, was first elected to the city council in May 2021. She is the cabinet member for culture and leisure.
Joshua Hanley grew up in Tuffley, went to local schools and is now raising his family here.
He is a sports coach and has helped run local football teams.

Unfortunately, both TSB and RBS have decided to close Leith branches. Cllr Caldwell attempted to meet with both.

Everybody in and around Finchampstead will be greatly relieved that the junction at California Crossroads has reopened and, with just a few bits of ‘tidying up’ to complete, travel in the area is returning to a normal.
Earlier this year, Management Committees of community centres across West Lothian were notified that the Council intended to seek new structures for managing the centres going forward.
East Sussex County Council led by the Conservatives is poised to make £55 million worth of cuts which will hit the most vulnerable residents. Further cuts are expected later in the year as the budget process continues.
