Councillor Caroline Courtney and Joshua Hanley are part of the Liberal Democrat team for Tuffley.
Caroline, who lives on Stroud Road near to St Barnabas Church, was first elected to the city council in May 2021. She is the cabinet member for culture and leisure.
Joshua Hanley grew up in Tuffley, went to local schools and is now raising his family here.
He is a sports coach and has helped run local football teams.

Parmjit Singh Gill MP visits Sir Jonathan North Community College
Leicester South MP Parmjit Singh Gill visited Sir Jonathan North Community College as part of "Take your MP to School Day". Taking an assembly for Year 7 students who started at the school in September, he spoke about what it was like in his new job as their local MP and how he first became involved in politics.

WOKING MP CHALLENGED OVER TROOP MOVEMENTS IN IRAQ
Dr Lee has written today to the Conservative MP for Woking asking him to back a Lib Dem call for a vote before troops are committed outside British control in Iraq. There will be a debate in the House of Commons tomorrow (21st October).
