Government ignoring its own green messages - Doughty
Commenting on the Environmental Audit Committee report, 'Greening Government 2004', Sue Doughty MP, Liberal Democrat member of the Committee, said:
Councillor Caroline Courtney and Joshua Hanley are part of the Liberal Democrat team for Tuffley.
Caroline, who lives on Stroud Road near to St Barnabas Church, was first elected to the city council in May 2021. She is the cabinet member for culture and leisure.
Joshua Hanley grew up in Tuffley, went to local schools and is now raising his family here.
He is a sports coach and has helped run local football teams.

At last nights group meeting of the Shepway Liberal Democrats, Cllr Linda Cufley resigned as the leader of the group. Members of the group have the greatest respect for Linda, and for all the work she has done over the last 21 years for both this district and her colleagues. As Linda explained to the group last night, the reason for her resignation was to enable the group to move forward as a whole.

Two Lib Dem MPs - Simon Hughes and Lembit Opik - joined Chelmsford Lib Dems at a recent Garden Party here. They welcomed the 100th new Lib Dem recruit in the Local Party's current membership drive.
In order to glean the green credentials of the party's two presidential candidates, the Green Liberal Democrats have asked them to answer a series of questions on environmental issues.
Recently a team a local young people from the Millennium Volunteers did a sponsored paint in West End. Eastleigh Borough Council sponsored them to paint railings in High Street, decorate at Merlyn House, and paint the Hilldene Centre Gates.
