Call for Traffic Calming for local School
Pratap Jewtha has been asked by local residents to help them get some form of road calming for Clumber Road in the Coleman Ward.
Councillor Caroline Courtney and Joshua Hanley are part of the Liberal Democrat team for Tuffley.
Caroline, who lives on Stroud Road near to St Barnabas Church, was first elected to the city council in May 2021. She is the cabinet member for culture and leisure.
Joshua Hanley grew up in Tuffley, went to local schools and is now raising his family here.
He is a sports coach and has helped run local football teams.

Plans to redesign the course at North Weald Golf club have been given the go-ahead by district councillors.
The Liberal Democrats have passed a series of measures that together form a strategy for clean and sustainable energy at their Conference. The strategy is based on energy demand reduction, greater energy efficiency, the use of economic instruments, combined heat and power, micro-generation and community-based forms of generation and a mix of renewable energy sources that include biomass, wind, wave, tidal, and solar.
The UK suffers from an 'Elective Dictatorship' with a lack of proper checks on the power of Government, an unfair voting system and an increasing disengagement of the public from Parliament and political activity. In the recent General Election Labour were returned to Government on just over a third of the vote.
The Park Ward Focus Team is campaigning to get rid of graffiti.
On a recent visit to Sweetman Street in Park Ward members of the Liberal Democrat Focus Team were shocked by the dangerous condition of the paving slabs. Many slabs were loose with result that the majority of walkways were hazardous for all residents.
