Release of Reserves a Step Closer
Lib Dem plans to release money from council reserves look a step closer following last weeks Corporate and Resources meeting.
Councillor Caroline Courtney and Joshua Hanley are part of the Liberal Democrat team for Tuffley.
Caroline, who lives on Stroud Road near to St Barnabas Church, was first elected to the city council in May 2021. She is the cabinet member for culture and leisure.
Joshua Hanley grew up in Tuffley, went to local schools and is now raising his family here.
He is a sports coach and has helped run local football teams.

Liberal Democrat Councillors mounted a protest outside the Town Hall at the weekend as the Mayor's £70,000 office move was taking place.
Whilst all eyes have been focused on the Mayor since his election last October, a quiet revolution has been going on elsewhere on the Council.
Hythe resident Mrs Susan Coleman of 183 Seabrook Road is celebrating the installation of a litter bin on the bus stop outside her house. The bin was installed after Mrs Coleman approached Lib Dem campaigner Peter Carroll for help.
Today (July 4th 2003) the Sustainable Energy Bill completed its Third Reading in the House of Commons.
