Mike Treleaven calls for embargo on nuisance calls
Mike Treleaven and the Liberal Democrats have launched a campaign to stop illegal nuisance calls in the run-up to the General Election in the Totnes constituency
Councillor Caroline Courtney and Joshua Hanley are part of the Liberal Democrat team for Tuffley.
Caroline, who lives on Stroud Road near to St Barnabas Church, was first elected to the city council in May 2021. She is the cabinet member for culture and leisure.
Joshua Hanley grew up in Tuffley, went to local schools and is now raising his family here.
He is a sports coach and has helped run local football teams.

The Liberal Democrats have launched their campaign to stop illegal nuisance calls from Labour and Conservative call centres in the run-up to the General Election. Both Labour and Conservatives could end up with legal bills running into many hundred thousand pounds if they continue to behave inappropriately and illegally.
Local Lib Dem Parliamentary Spokesman Peter Carroll today visited Folkestone School for Girls. Peter was invited to speak to sixth formers studying Sociology and Politics.
Today at the launch of the Liberal Democrat Alternative Budget, Liberal Democrat Leader, Charles Kennedy MP and Liberal Democrat Shadow Chancellor, Dr Vince Cable MP, emphasised the need for fairer taxation and tough choices in public spending. The Alternative Budget also includes the party's plans for higher pensions, extra police, smaller class sizes, a Maternity Income Guarantee, scrapping tuition fees, scrapping council tax and free personal care.
Plans to raise the level of council tax by Bedford Borough Council have been slammed by local Lib Dems.
