Councillor Caroline Courtney and Joshua Hanley are part of the Liberal Democrat team for Tuffley.

Caroline, who lives on Stroud Road near to St Barnabas Church, was first elected to the city council in May 2021. She is the cabinet member for culture and leisure.

Joshua Hanley grew up in Tuffley, went to local schools and is now raising his family here.

He is a sports coach and has helped run local football teams.

Steve Dixon fights Nonsuch By-election on October 6th

Steve Dixon is the Liberal Democrat candidate for the by-election in Nonsuch ward on Thursday 6th October. He has lived in the ward for the last 17 years. He is married and has two teenage children attending local schools. Steve also works locally, running his own firm of Actuarial Consultants based in Epsom. Steve Dixon believes passionately in the local community and the Borough of Epsom & Ewell and has recently challenged both the Council and the Government about the sell-off of school playing fields.

Thousands head to the Liberal Democrat Conference

Thousands of Liberal Democrats have today headed up to Blackpool for the Liberal Democrat Conference. A number of members from Wolverhampton, including David Jack, David Murray and Colin Ross (the General Election candidates) will be attending. The Conference is the first since the General Election so there will be many new MP's at the Conference as well.

Lawns Success with 17.7% swing to Lib Dems

Lib Dem Robin Stevens scoops Lawns By-election

Lib Dem Robin Stevens has won the by-election for Lawns ward of Chelmsford Borough Council - with an 17.7% swing from the Conservatives. Said Robin, "I am delighted - and a little daunted - that the people of the Lawns Ward have placed such faith in me. I will do my utmost to deserve it and follow in the footsteps of Phil Harvey."
