Wendy Chamberlain MP joins our Conference fringe panel
Wendy Chamberlain MP, our Chief Whip and LDER President will be speaking along with some great guest speakers at our Conference fringe panel.
Councillor Caroline Courtney and Joshua Hanley are part of the Liberal Democrat team for Tuffley.
Caroline, who lives on Stroud Road near to St Barnabas Church, was first elected to the city council in May 2021. She is the cabinet member for culture and leisure.
Joshua Hanley grew up in Tuffley, went to local schools and is now raising his family here.
He is a sports coach and has helped run local football teams.

A fire broke out on the balcony of a flat on the 10th floor of Varney Court in St Mark's Square, Bromley in the morning of Thursday 15th August. All residents were safely evacuated and the emergency services extinguished the fire by midday.
Commenting on reports that the Scottish Government is to but back on public sector advertising, economy spokesperson Willie Rennie said:

Bromley Council have agreed to spend an additional £4.8 million to finish construction at the York Rise development near Orpington Station after the contractors originally appointed have gone into administration.
Catford has many things going for it, with two train stations, a vibrant community, an active voluntary sector and more. However, it is also a place that has been let down many times by Labour run Lewisham Council, which has been in power since 1971.
