Green Energy vs Green Spaces
In his Courier article on 29th August Paul McLennan MSP noted the ambition of the Scottish Government for Scotland to be the worlds first clean energy superpower.
Councillor Caroline Courtney and Joshua Hanley are part of the Liberal Democrat team for Tuffley.
Caroline, who lives on Stroud Road near to St Barnabas Church, was first elected to the city council in May 2021. She is the cabinet member for culture and leisure.
Joshua Hanley grew up in Tuffley, went to local schools and is now raising his family here.
He is a sports coach and has helped run local football teams.

The recent launch of the Scottish Loves Nature campaign to call for a Natural Environment Bill to bring in legal targets to restore nature.
October’s full council meeting is to be held in New Romney, making it the first to be held outside Folkestone in recent years.
