Wishart responds to TSB Lerwick branch closure
Responding to news that Lerwick’s TSB branch is set to close on 10th September 2024 Scottish Liberal Democrat and Shetland MSP Beatrice Wishart said:
Councillor Caroline Courtney and Joshua Hanley are part of the Liberal Democrat team for Tuffley.
Caroline, who lives on Stroud Road near to St Barnabas Church, was first elected to the city council in May 2021. She is the cabinet member for culture and leisure.
Joshua Hanley grew up in Tuffley, went to local schools and is now raising his family here.
He is a sports coach and has helped run local football teams.

There is nothing in her record as an MP to suggest she has a centre-ground political bone in her body.
A General Election is looming. It must be called by the end of this year, though the actual date is up to Rishi Sunak to decide.
We have a full range of progressive policies including a strong desire to repair our broken relationships with Europe, robust environmental policies particularly on sustainable energy and cleaning up our rivers.
