Potential bin strikes: 14-22 August
It has been confirmed that unless COSLA and the Scottish Government come up with a new deal for waste and refuse workers, there will be bin strikes from 14th – 22nd August inclusive
Councillor Caroline Courtney and Joshua Hanley are part of the Liberal Democrat team for Tuffley.
Caroline, who lives on Stroud Road near to St Barnabas Church, was first elected to the city council in May 2021. She is the cabinet member for culture and leisure.
Joshua Hanley grew up in Tuffley, went to local schools and is now raising his family here.
He is a sports coach and has helped run local football teams.

Last week was a bit like the end of term for parliament before it began its summer recess. During August I will mostly be working at home, and these weeks will give me some time to focus on getting my office staffed and up and running.
The last ten days have been immensely difficult for our country.
