Lib Dem gains in Hart District Election Results
The Lib Dems become the largest party in Hart District Council following gains in the Local Elections.
Councillor Caroline Courtney and Joshua Hanley are part of the Liberal Democrat team for Tuffley.
Caroline, who lives on Stroud Road near to St Barnabas Church, was first elected to the city council in May 2021. She is the cabinet member for culture and leisure.
Joshua Hanley grew up in Tuffley, went to local schools and is now raising his family here.
He is a sports coach and has helped run local football teams.

Labour's vote share is down significantly, but they manage to cling on to the seat and get Jamie Scott elected.

The Lib Dems in St Neots and Mid Cambridgeshire are celebrating a by-election win in the ward of Great Paxton. Previously a Conservative-held seat, the Lib Dem candidate converted this into a victory.
