Cole-Hamilton comments as Swinney elected SNP leader unopposed
Responding to the news that John Swinney has been elected SNP leader unopposed, Scottish Liberal Democrat leader Alex Cole-Hamilton MSP said:
Councillor Caroline Courtney and Joshua Hanley are part of the Liberal Democrat team for Tuffley.
Caroline, who lives on Stroud Road near to St Barnabas Church, was first elected to the city council in May 2021. She is the cabinet member for culture and leisure.
Joshua Hanley grew up in Tuffley, went to local schools and is now raising his family here.
He is a sports coach and has helped run local football teams.

Across MK the Lib Dems had a successful election, successfully defending 3 seats and gaining 3 more. The results increased the number of seats held by the Lib Dems on MK City Council to 18.
The local elections on May 2nd saw growing support for the Liberal Democrats both nationally and locally.
