Rebecca Trimnell and the fly tipped rubbish

Liberal Democrat campaigners in Westgate ward have uncovered Gloucester's hidden rubbish dump. They are demanding that the city council takes appropriate action clear it up and stop further dumping. Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service has been made aware.
Westgate ward team member and city council candidate, Rebecca Trimnell said:
"I was shocked to see so much rubbish dumped at the back of properties on Park Road, Trier Way and Belgrave Road.
"It is totally unacceptable and begs the question of what our Conservative councillors are actually doing in the area as it appears this has gone unnoticed for quite sometime.
"It is not only unsightly, but also poses as a fire hazard. It is on private land, but it seems the landowners just don't care. It is unfair to others that live nearby.
"I have asked the council to take robust action to get the area cleared as soon as possible using enforcement action on landowners if necessary."
